Providing
your child with both a helpful boost - and a leg up. Enrolling your
child in a Social Skills Group will help nurture and develop their
abilities to interact more harmoniously with their friends,
teachers, and siblings, in your home, in school and other social
situations. The compelling and important skills learned in this
class will help your child succeed and will enable them to feel more
confident and less frustrated.

Created by
Dr. Rene and two Nationally Certified School Psychologists, Barbara
Evans and Madhuri Ralph, the Social Skills Group is offered as
either an 8-week or 16-week
program designed to improve your child’s ability to:

manage and communicate emotions in healthy and respectful manner

The
classes are fun and interactive. Children will have weekly homework
activity to complete with parents to reinforce what they learn in
class. Activities include movement games, art activities, puppet
shows and story time to teach the weekly topic.
Age
Requirement – your child must be at least three years old, and no
older than nine years old, when beginning the Social Skills Group.
Classes are held for 3- to 4-year-olds, 5- to 6-year-olds, and 7- 9-year-olds.
The curriculum is modified to be age appropriate.
The cost of
this program is $40 per class, $160 per month. Space is limited to
12 children per class with two psychologist instructors and one or
two preschool teachers.
